Project Description

Struct Steel Engineering were appointed by GTL Europe to provide the structural steel, cladding and intumescent coatings across 4 new factory buildings for GTL’s state-of-the-art substrate facility for compost manufacturing.

Struct Steel Engineering were involved from an early stage in the contract and provided all connection designs, structural steel fabrication and on-site erection of steel work for the entire project.

All steel was galvanised, with some areas receiving 60 minute intumescent coatings to comply with both Building Control requirements and the harsh C4 environment that the steel was exposed to.

Struct Steel Engineering also completed 16000 SQ/M of internal and external insulated cladding to the main production hall.
